Heading North

It is that time of the year that I love to head north and do what thousands of people do every fall....I think they call it leaf peeping.

http://www.leafpeepers.com/

Here is a great website to visit about being a Leaf Peeper in New England.

Autumn foliage in the Berkshires

Now, if I could only convince everyone else to stay home so there is nobody on the road while I'm driving. I hope everyone reading this blog has an opportunity to spend some time relaxing and enjoying the surrounding changing foliage where ever you may be.

Be sure and stop by the http://www.alchemistbeer.com/  Alchemist brewery for a cold one unless of course it is really cold and you are more of a coffee drinker.  If so then make sure to stop at http://www.greenmountaincoffee.com/ The Green Mountain Coffee Shop in Waterbury for a great cup of coffee and to pick up some of your favorite coffee flavors.

Enjoy the fall.....winter is right around the corner!

Anniversary Party

The Mountains of Vermont is a great back drop for photos. We celebrated my parents 59th wedding anniversary this summer in Vermont on Mckinstry Hill with their 6 children and a handful of grandchildren and friends. The sun was setting fast but got this pic in of Ann and Bill on the deck during their summer getaway!

One week later and I'm back in class, learning how to Blog. I still don't know whether I understand the concept but trying. As for Vermont I can't wait to take a trip in October to see the changing fall mountains. The colors are always so much more vivid compared to southern MA. Watch the You Tube video to see the summit of Mount Mansfield Mountains changing colors.

More Pics to share

All though these pictures are of the same mountain range, due to the time of day and weather they look so different. But of course they remain beautiful to look at. Imagine looking out from your kitchen window every day and seeing these staring back at you. Never changing but always changing.

Sitting upon McKinstry Hill

Welcome to McKinstry Hill and the mountains of Vermont. I've been looking at these mountains since the age of 8 and they always amaze me. There beauty has always intriques me to take pictures every time I visit. Although they seem more beautiful than the time before they never really change except seasonally.
